Applications

• In aquaculture, it is found to oxygenate water (increases the DO value).
• In the ecological restoration industry, it is used in the treatment of waste water, soils and groundwater contaminated with petroleum (Arsenic, cyanide, hydrogen sulfide, ammonium compounds, PAHs, VOCs, BTEX).
• In agriculture, it is used in the pre sowing treatment of rice seed. It is used to increase the rate of fermentation processes.
• As an oxidant to enhance the extraction of precious metals from their ores.
• As a food additive under the E number E930, it is used as flour bleaching agent and improving agent. In baking, it strengthens the gluten wall in dough for better texture, moisture retention, and yield.
